Anyone have any issues w/getting these two to connect? Have tried numerous times today, even been on the phone for over an hour with Carlson support and nothing. Surely someone has dealt w/this.
I phoned Carlson when I was setting up my surveyor2 with my javad RTK, topcon robot, and 3003W. They should be able to hook you right up, but you can try my settings:
Model: GPT-L Series (non-motorized
Comms:
Type: Bluetooth, BT Type, Windows Mobile, Device GPT-3003 (Note: You have to scan to find your TS, and check the TS for the pin code that is entered)
Settings: Whatever you prefer on those

Did this and spent over 2 hrs. on the phone w/them today. I'm considering billing them...still doesn't work.
I wouldn't blame Carlson. Always helpful. I have had this set up, guessing more of a problem with your topcon Bluetooth.

OK, then next question, can you connect to the TS with another BT device?
Can you connect the Surveyor2 with a different BT device?
This is my fist BT setup. I remember reading another person had trouble with keeping the DC connected to a Javad (I think) receiver via BT. I have found the setup to be very stable, and provides nice BT range. I have had no problems with any of my 3 setups.
Yeah, I'm thinking it might be the gun b/c the Mini2 won't connect either and both will connect to our Hipers.
