For some reason I cannot figure out how to get simple selection sets to work in TBC how I know they can in TGO
Has anybody else ran into this problem?
In TGO I could export a job with all points to the data collector, collect points all day and then import back into TGO and it would automatically create a selection set of the newly imported points without the duplicate points in it by merging the duplicates (given that I have my point tolerances set etc.) In this way I could have selection sets for each different days worth of data, something that was very useful for us.
In TBC when I import my job it creates a selection set of all imported pnts including the ones already in the file with my merge settings and point tolerances all the same as it was in TGO.
It is as if TGO would merge my imported points with the computers points creating a unique selection set and TBC will merge my computer points to my imported points creating one large useless selection set.
Any Thoughts?
