I have a DAT file that got confused at the end and recorded a couple of epochs with bogus dates, making the occupation appear to be 2 days longer than it is. I can fix it in RINEX, but TBC won't let me import the RINEX file because it overlaps the existing occupation. Is there a way I can delete to original occupation record entirely and import the corrected file?
I'm not quite sure I understand the question but did you delete the file under imported files in the project explorer and then recompute?
In my software I simply right click on the filename and pick delete.
I am not sure if I should share sympathy with those that feed the bottomless pit.
Certain unnamed companies share mottos. "We promise that the next version will fix all your problems. Simply send us more money."

Once again popping off with no clue what you're talking about. In TBC open Project Explorer, expand Files, right-click the file, select Delete, hit Recompute. Ta-Da!!

Can't we all just get along! 🙂
Sorry I can't help it sometimes. Someone with no clue is not adding anything to the conversation.
Would it not be easier to view the timeline and remove the offending data?

All I said was I do not have to go anywhere but see all my file names right there on my screen.
Heck I can use Windows Explorer and whack the files without opening my software. But when I did open my software I would have to then whack the project point from my Map View.
Let me see, Map View, Time View, Workbook with 10 different topics all in view on my screen at the same time. I guess I am missing the joy of having software that is not self evident?
Have a nice day.

Off topic here, hate to put you to work, but how do you label points now in TBC, say you want to see the scale factor of a point, where is that?

I didn't think it'd be that easy. Thanks!
Sorry Jim. That was why I was confused.

The only way I know to see the scale factors is to turn them on in a Points Spreadsheet - just go to Project Settings>View>Point Spreadsheet and change it from Hide to Show. That spreadsheet is totally customizable and can then be easily copied to Excel or whatever.
You can also export them using a custom export. I don't know of a way to display them on the map screen.

That's too bad, I will miss that function,,,,,, at least I wasn't finding something that isn't there:-(
I hadn't really thought about it, but if you tack it onto an export behind the Feature Code (or Attribute) field, it looks just like an attribute, I would think it would be easy to have that displayed in CAD - but I'm not a CAD guy.

Well, I'm sure not a CAD guy in TBC, maybe there is something that can be done in there
