I am testing a new NOMAD collector with SurvCE 3.0. I setup my networked VRS rover, etc and everything seems fine but I do not see any mention of a Geoid file in the Job settings. I see it under the transformations screen...do I apply the geoid there? I am used to TDS software..any help is appreciated.

Yes, you apply it under the transformations screen, but you first have to use Carlson Xport or one of the utilities in Carlson Survey to carve out a portion of the geoid file that covers your work area. Go to Carlson's web site, knowledge base, survce, how to's, topic 219 "how to load geoids". I'd post a link but I've yet to discover how to cut and paste on my android tablet.

Equip TAB / Localization / GPS TAB

Load your Geoid file there and it will be applied as you survey...
