My I-man forgot to change the Target Height. When I edit the Raw Data and insert the appropriate Target Height the elevations do not change. What do I need to do to fix this so as to not backup and re-shoot? Do I need to do something after editing the Raw Data to recalculate the elevations? Thanks for your help.

Did you reprocess the raw file in the DC?

No I did not. I am new to SurCE. So I edit the Raw file then reprocess With No Adjustment? That sounded right but I was scared to try it.

Pull all the files into a clean folder on your PC. Then use the SurvCE demo to edit and reprocess.
You can download a copy from here:
http://www.carlsonsw.com/support/software-downloads/?product=SurvCE&version=5.00
The emulator works exactly the same as the mobile version, but you will be working with a copy and won't need to worry about messing anything up.

I, almost always, open the RAW file and then save it as "JOB#_EDITED" so that the original file remains unchanged. But you're correct, edit the RAW file and then reprocess without adjustment and redraw all your points again.
When this happens which is never i
create a point group say Rod Bust R1 in autocad C3D 2016
lock points All points group
then isolate that point group Rod Bust R1 and unlock Rod Bust R1 group
execute datum command for Rod Bust R1 and lift / lower point group Rod Bust R1 in cad
Send fixed points back to DC
Raw data reprocess my take anyways has to support all the changes in raw data from versions
1.0 Surve Ce to 5.04 and seems like a tough programming task why go down that road.
Do little as possible in DC and every thing in CAD the paper trail is so much easier to follow.

Mark:
Are you talking about X-Port? That link seems to go to X-Port. If so, I thought version 2.0/2.5 was not eligible for a license, but it shows that 2.0/2.5 is an option in that link. Is this a demo of X-Port? (Haven't put my serial number in yet/). Thanks.
To close the loop on this thread; While in the field with the DC in hand, I made a copy of the Raw Data file, edited the original file, processed without corrections, then backsighted from the edited point to the previous setup. Checked in 0.01' Vertical.
Thanks for the quick and helpful responses.

No, I use the SurvCE pc demo. You need a sn to see it on the Carlson site.
