Hello,?ÿ

I have set up my network link and picked the nearest mount point ( base) to the area I was working.?ÿ When traveling away from this chosen base mount point, I find the rover automatically connects the the previous base, not allowing me to choose the closer base.?ÿ ?ÿThe software does not show the drop down list or allow changing mount points.?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿResiduals get pretty loose?ÿ ?ÿthis leave no confidence in the survey .?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿDoes anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong ? Or missing. I've studied videos and manuals?ÿ now blue in the face .?ÿ ?ÿHelp !!!

Thank you very much?ÿ

Equip: GPS Rover: RTK (tab)

the drop down list is on the bottom

By default, if you exit SurvCE at the end of work, when you restart it will connect to the last used mount point.

Yesterday I tried this procedure to no avail. There was no drop down?ÿ I ended up using the original Base and averaged shots to get a good approximation.?ÿ today's job is also far away from original base, but has a very nearby base Soooo, I'll try it again.?ÿ?ÿ

Thanks for the info Mark?ÿ

Isn't the drop down the one under Base ID, and you need to use the hammer/spanner tab to set profiles for various bases?

Richard?ÿ

Ahhh Yes?ÿ I need to use the wrench key to reset the "mount point"?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿThe Trimble software grabs the nearest automatically, so I am a little out of the water on this.?ÿ The Carlson software is so easy to use, though,?ÿ ?ÿI'm happy to have made the switch.?ÿ
