Don't see a category for total stations, but I am asking about software/firmware.
I am having some intermittent problems with being able to operate in remote control. I have heard a rumor that there is a faceplate keystroke combination that will reboot the total station.
I suspect a radio issue, but wanted to try a reboot before a trip to the repair facility.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, We were having similar issues. Firstly, get one of those power cables for a 12V battery and check if you are still having issues. We keep using the small 3-pack but it seems those batteries do not last that long and eventually do not take a full charge. We also had to send the gun/radios in as the radios needed to be tweaked. If we are out on a full day now we just use the 12V battery and usually do not have problems.
