What is your naming convention, for that many drawings?

Can you easily find one you did several years ago?

I use the system that I got used to at my first surveying shop:?ÿ clients are assigned a 4-digit number (0000-0199 for AA-AM, 0200-0399 for AN-AZ, etc.), and jobs are assigned the client number followed by a dash and a 3-digit sequential number.?ÿ So the 3rd job for A&L Services, Inc. is 0011-003, and the CAD file for that job is 0011-003.dwg.?ÿ Finding a CAD file in the DWG folder -- even one I did in 1993 -- is a piece of cake.
