You're going to hate Carlson, until you love it

In my career I've switched from C&G to Softdesk, to LDD, to C3d. I hated every one until I came to grips with it. But each switch was immersive. ?ÿThere was no option to go back. I've also dabbled in Eagle Point and Microstation/Inroads.

This time, with Carlson, for office politics reasons, it's a case of being prepared to do both that and C3d.?ÿ ?ÿNot the most efficient way to run a survey office, but this is civic government.?ÿ An ability to get along, to go with the flow, to deal with whatever comes up is far more important than cranking out a volume of work.?ÿ

have access to C3D 2017, Carlson 2021, LDD 2007 and Eagle Point ~2000. If i have big or complicated Survey to input, still use Eagle Point (it has way better Boundary Traverse in COGO module, you can have it record as you enter and play back with modifications, it also lets you "place focus on CAD and pan, or other commands, then continue with traverse" you can undo each leg, then input again etc...)

When using the NEWER products i still forget sometimes and try to do CAD commands while doing other in NEWER. 🙁
