Is anyone here familiar with a "rain mode" as part of Win7 or Win10? I've got someone saying Win7 included a "rain mode" and they're asking is Win10 has the same thing. Personally, I've never heard of this and am wondering if they're just pulling my leg. Others I've asked haven't heard of it either but you folks reach farther than any other group I know so I thought I'd pick your brains for a second.?ÿ
Hope all are well!

Only thing I can fathom is that the touch screen on the Yuma 2 would go berserk in the rain. But the only "rain mode" I know of is to disable the touch screen.
Rain mode sounds like something appropriate to a hardware platform, and not a basic part of an operating system that runs on many platforms.
Rain Mode = Find nearest Bar & wait it out!
It exists on my Trimble T7 tablet. I have a button on the right side of the the taskbar near the clock that pulls up a Touch Control Panel that lets me pick between finger/rain, glove, or stylus.?ÿ Probably different on any given brand like laptops where certain items are always tweeked by the OEM's.
On some tablets and data collectors with touch screens there is a Rain Mode, Dry/Touch Mode, and a Stylus Mode.
Good example is the TSC7. Runs Win10 with a touch screen. Rain Mode doesn't work as well as it is supposed to...but that's all touchscreens in my experience.

Query to correct answer.
I'm going to ask all my questions on this site from now on.
First: explain women.
Rain mode = keypad or field book.
Does not exist on those fancy tablets, well, unless you include the hammer fix button.

I haven't found the rain mode to be very helpful. I'd like to make (or buy if available) something like this....
It seems others have asked about "rain mode" for their equipment and that there are "rain/wet profiles"

Might be worth a quick look in the manual of your specific device.
