I am dipping my toes into some laser scanning and I am looking for some advice on software. I will be using a Topcon scanner with scan master. I would like to be able to draw building elevations in Carlson or AutoCAD so I was wondering can I literally import processed and registered pointclouds into AutoCAD or Carlson and work from there. If so is the only limitation then the ability of the computer hardware?
