Im a concrete contractor teaching myself how to use a robotic total station
just got spectra pro layout office and cant figure out how to get files from there to my nomad
data collector i think it has tds survey pro.
I have TDS Survey Pro, which is the predecessor to Precision Pro.
To get my layout points into the data collector (DC), I connect the DC to the PC using either Active Sync, or Windows Mobile Device Center, depending on your operating system. Explore the contents of your device, and browse to the Survey Pro jobs. It may be Precision Pro on your DC.
This is the folder where your job files are stored. I copy my ascii files containing my pre-calculated stakeout points into this directory. I will then import them into my job file.
This how I do it on my two Ranger data collectors running TDS Survey Pro running versions 4.5.2 and 4.7.1 respectively. Hopefully this will help.
