Does anyone have any pictures of these mounted on a range pole?
I want a bigger screen but I still want a physical keyboard. There are rumors that Juniper is coming out with a new model of data collector with the MX form factor but with a larger screen. That may be coming this time next year.

cfmdemons,

If you happen to see this message, and have any details on the particular type of RAM mount you used, I'd much appreciate it. I just got a CF-U1 and am trying to figure out how to mount it on a pole....

thanks.

Al

I ended up going with the "B" size mount, as opposed to the larger "C" size mount. It seems to have been a pretty good choice, but time will tell whether holds up to field use.

Here are the parts which I ended up getting:

RAM-B-201U
RAM-B-111BU
RAM-B-108BU

By the way, as to the original post, yes it looks like Juniper Systems has created a new line of data collectors, marketed under the Cedar Tree label, including tablet style devices that run Google Android. Interesting product, but don't know whether it will be able to run typical surveying software (SurvCE, etc.)....
