Folks, I have been a 'googling this problem to no avail yet, so I bring this one to you.

I have my Outlook 2016 calendar almost completely and correctly synced via iCloud with my iPhone.

But, not quite.

So when I enter a calendar event into my iPhone, it DOES show up on my Outlook 2016 calendar on my PC a okay.

But when I enter a calendar event into my Outlook 2016 calendar on my PC, it DOES NOT show up on my iPhone.

I am guessing that there is some simple setting somewhere I am missing?

Is it okay if I "bump myself"?

Well, just for posterity's sake I will post my terrible work around here before I walk away from this and try to re-enter the land of productivity.

I find that I am able to enter a calendar event into my Outlook 2016 calendar on my PC as an ALL DAY EVENT, then it DOES show up on my iPhone.

However, I cannot then edit the times on the PC for them to show up on my iPhone.

But, I am able to edit the times on my iPhone first, then I can edit the event with either device and then it all works as it should.

I have been getting by with simply adding all new events to my iPhone first rather than to my PC first.

But sometimes, it is just a lot easier to add all the kids events at the computer.

It seems to me that in this day and age we should have some master Big Brother calendar that we all share in some way.

This seems to be a topic I struggle with from time to time, also. I use gsyncit to link my Outlook calendar to my Android phone. It usually works but then will go off the reservation and need to be reigned back in.

Brad:
No workaround should be necessary. it's been a while since I've used Outlook (for ANYthing, lol), but the SOP as I recall, is as simple as:
1. Close Outlook.
2. Open iCloud for Windows.
3. Deselect the Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks checkbox and click Apply.
4. Wait a few seconds. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, and click Apply.
Open Outlook.

That used to work.
