Offset & Fillet

Once in a while I find a rogue drawing with the setting to offset and fillet a polyline all at once. Then I go to most of the drawings and it's the same humdrum: offset then fillet. Two separate actions, then you get to edit the offset line because the arcs never swing when the backtangents are short.

Try BOFFSET

Try BOFFSET. It offsets and fillets in the same operation.

Thanks for asking this question - I had the same problem!

This works in ACAD 2013:

Set "OFFSETGAPTYPE" to 1 and the OFFSET command will automatically fillet the offset lines.

If you set it to 2, it chamfers the offset.
