Ok, time to ask the experts before I hurt myself:

I have been using a local network. Upgraded my phone to LG6 verizon, and now it doesnt work. when I turn on the "mobile hotspot" with new phone, I get a message that says:

1. turn on Wi fi on the other device.
2. Select VERIZON VS988 2C6B in the list of available WIFI networks.
3. Enter Z(3aa[Oe if a password is required.

My question is how do I make my TSC3 work?

thanks in advance.

Warren,

Are you trying to discover your phone with your TSC3?

If so, I believe you need to Have your TSC3 on first, in the accessories/devices/network menu of Windows CE then search for the device to connect to.
IF the TSC3 discovers it, you see the VERIZON VS988 2C6B device listed, and possibly other devices as well.
Choose the VERIZON
You should then get a dialog box asking for the password.

This is all done from memory, from a few years back, but I believe with a little fiddling, you will get there with this, if it is what you are asking.

If you are asking how to use the local network (Assuming it is a correction network) I cannot help with that one unless I have my hands on the equipment.

Regards,

Jon

I just had to give up my TSC3 for licensing reasons, but that's a whole other issue... You are trying to connect the TSC3 to the phone using the wifi network the phone creates when you turn on the mobile hotspot, correct? If so, and this is from memory only, so things might be a little different.
Press the windows key on the controller
Tap in the status bar at the top of the screen
Tap the icon that looks similar to a cell phone
Select wireless manager
Pick the option in the bottom right corner of the screen and choose wireless options (it maybe not say options, but it does say wireless something)
Then you should see your phone "VERIZON VS988 2C6B" in the list of available WIFI networks, and it should say available next to it.
Select your phone, then you will be prompted for the password.
after entering the password, it should say connecting, then connected.

I'm pretty sure all the steps in what I said, but I am doing this from memory. Send me a message and we can try to figure it out if this doesn't work.
