I have a drawing that has been exported to acad 2004 file but for the life of me I cannot get it to open. I ran it through DWG Trueview and converted to 2004 and 2000 and it still will not open in my LDD 2004. The company sent 2 other drawings and they work fine. They have also tried about 5 different thinks to get it to work including Audit and Purge before export and nothing seems to work.
I can email to anyone who is wiling to help.
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried this???
Start a new (blank) session of ACAD, then under File/drawing utilities/recover...
(find your file and see if ACAD can do a recover on it).
Just my $.02 worth...
Good Luck (I also run LDD 2004)

I got a PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING when I tried to open them.
Thanks for the suggestions gents! No dice, this file must be corrupt!
I can try it here in 2014 - the newer versions of ACad usually have more robust tools for finding and fixing errors.

I'll try if you haven't had any luck yet. I have a few versions loaded.
Finally got it opened. Thanks Steve! Sounds like there was some corrupt hatching and possibly some blocks too.
Thanks to everyone who tried helping me. This forum is great!
