Are you using basic MicroStation or a Civil/Survey application??ÿ I used MicroStation for years and don't know what "tiny shellfish" you are referencing.?ÿ Is it one of the "Angular Dimension" graphic icons?

Yeah, not familiar with this shellfish you speak of.

Which version of Microstation are you using?

I think "tiny shellfish" is just Randy's term of endearment for MicroStation.?ÿ I believe he is a big fan of that software and I can just feel his love oozing through my monitor whenever he writes about MicroStation.

Sorry BB has it right, I'm no fan of microstation (mostly because I suck at it), what I have is V8i Power GeoPak and I was looking for a curve labeling routine that would label the chord bearing and distance along with the other pertinent data, it doesn't have to be a built in function if there is some custom code out there that would do it (VBA?).

Thanks again

Plan View Labeling would be your "easiest" option. Find it on the GeoPak Survey toolbar, under Plans Preparation. You can either create an alignment or select "MS Elements".

Otherwise, Classic Cogo may be an option but you will have to pull the desired information out and place it as an annotation/text element.

I am more a fan of Civil3d but from what I know about Microstation, these are about your only options.
