I have some images stored in the job (screen shots). They are not attached to a point.
I want to copy them off the CS15 and onto the computer. How can I achieve this?
I don't have the data lead, unfortunately it was not supplied. I have been using a USB stick to transfer data successfully but can't find out how to export the images.

Viva is version 5.05
Any help appreciated.

Just checking to be sure, I don't have a CS15 in front of me at the moment and can't test what you're describing, however can you confirm that when you do the following from the main menu:

User -> Tools & utilities -> Transfer user objects -> Transfer all objects

to USB, the images you want are not transferred? I thought that the DBX folder contains subfolders for each job, and an Images sub-folder within each job folder.

Go to jobs & data> export & copy data. As im sure your familiar with. Then I export dwf data to your destination, in your case your usb card. Once you load your card on your cpu you should see a dxf folder in the folder you should see all your pics

At least that's how I get my pics.
Good luck

Squowse,

The images are always stored under the job folder in a sub-folder called Images. So say you job was called "My Topo 1" the pictures would be under this path...

Memory Device Where Job is StoredDBXMy Topo 1Images

If you tag an image to a point the file name will reflect the Point ID... so if you shot the point called 100.... the image file(s) would be called..

IMG_100_(Date)_(Time)

If you did not tag the image to a point the fill will be called...

IMG_(Date)_(Time)

This is for images taken with CS Controllers or TS Imaging instruments or the Nova line of instruments

To download the images just download you job to say a USB stick...

Main Menu-> USER -> Tools and Utilities -> Transfer User Objects...

Transfer Job from (location of job) to USB... then select the job name

On the stick you will find the photos under...

DBXJob NameImages
