I know I've seen this issue posted before, I just can't seem to find it right now.

How do I get my curser to go smoothly across the screen? It used to do this, but now it jumps around as if it's conformed to a grid. I'm using Calson 2010.

TIA for your help!

Doug

It sounds like your ACad grid snap has been turned on. Try entering SNAP at the command line, to check the setting.

I changed it from Grid to Polar, but now the auto snap won't work.....

When i type AUTOSNAP in the command line it ask to set a new value and it is set at 39..

Try F7, that is what controls gridon gridoff in AutoCAD.

F9 or the leftmost icon at the very bottom of your Carlson screen. Botrh will turn SNAP on or off. This is different from AutoSnap. (I prefer to use the Point/Object snap under settings too.)
