I copied an image from a PDF and pasted it into AutoCAD. It shows up on the Cad and on the preview, but wont plot on paper.

Anyone have any ideas, why this won't plot?

Thank you

If your using CAD this is where I'd check, other than CAD, I have no experience.
Open the Plot menu, select the properties for your printer
On the Device and Document settings tab select Graphics, then Raster Graphics, ensure that the top two slider bars are not set to none, probably should be set at mid or better.

Thank you!

I brought it in as a jpeg through raster and it plotted.

Your welcome,
By the way, I've always wondered how far upstate are you, I was born and raised in the Poughkeepsie area, left there in '02.

I make it a tiff and use the insert file command to put into a drawing.

Pasted sounds like the result was an OLE object. You WILL have lots of problems with OLE objects. Let's put it this way, I would use a crayon before I would use OLE. As "A Harris" mentioned, save the image to an image file and reference it.

It is times like these that I like to hear coins clinking in the tip jar (see my signature line for a link).
