So my 42" plotter I have is still having the issue plotting double lines/shadowing.

My repair guy is saying that I need a new Service Pack. Though I'm not sure exactly what this is, it seems to be fairly expensive.

My question is, do you all know of anyone who might have a service pack? Possibly the plotter was upgraded before the pack was used.

The service packs are now discontinued and may be hard to find.

Model #C7770B

Any advice would be helpful.

Lugeyser,

If you don't get any traction on this forum, you might try HP's Plotter Forum.

Not sure what a "service pack" is- I just searched the manual for it without result.

I replaced the "service sta. assembly" , P/N C7769-60374, in my 500 last January. It was an OEM part manufactured 09/03/2012.

Got a part #?

Contact Jason Ake at Plotters Pro in Austin, Texas. He can probably answer your question. I took my 450C to him in December 2011 and he solved the problem I was having with it. They refurbish and sell plotters, so he should know what you are asking about. I have a link to their web site that I will add.
