Forgive me, I think this would be the correct forum to ask this:

* I recently tried to down load and update the firmware for my two Topcon Hiperlite + units, and have not had much luck. All the files downloaded fine with no warnings. When I went to open the TRU software nothing happens. I waited it out, and nothing.

* I am running Windows 7 Pro 32 bit because that's what all my legacy pre-subscription software will run on. I'm wondering if that's the issue, and if so, is that also going to impact the updated firmware?

* My fear is that whatever happens, it will bomb my OAF file and create two boat anchors.?ÿ

I no longer work as a surveyor full time and am not interested in costly equipment upgrades, although I will never truly QUIT!

Any advice would be absolutely wonderful, thanks

The problems is with TRU.

You can save the OAF to preserve for future reload. Never seen an OAF get corrupted. If you can connect the Win 7 PC to the internet, then I can remote in, to assist you.

@leegreen

Thanks Lee. I'm going to be out of pocket for a couple of weeks, but I will definitely get back with you.
