I know NGS has a converter that you can input one point at a time, but is there software that i can input a text file of geodetic coords and convert to spcs?

Thanks

Corpscon Bugs?

Does Corpscon still miscalculate the combined scale factor (or was it the convergence angle)? I thought they stopped supporting the program and wasn't sure if there was a patch for that.

Corpscon Bugs?

There was a thread on this a while back, which I seem to remember said there can be small discrepancies in the combined factor due to misunderstanding of whether to use ellipsoidal or orthometric height, and was different between ver 5 and ver 6. Study that [msg=309050]old thread[/msg] and run an example with numbers from an NGS data sheet.

Corpscon Bugs?

The wording in that old thread is confusing. I ran a couple examples with Corpscon 6 and find that I must enter the orthometric height to get the combined factor on the NGS data sheet.

With orthometric, I get a difference in the 8th place which is undoubtedly due to my not paying attention to which geoid model is selected. Using the ellipsoidal height gives a difference in the 5th place.
