Hello there,

Have a tech question that seeming to become a pain. We have a handheld Trimble GeoXH Geoexplorer 6000 that our we use and we are looking to import some points to it for reference out in the field. I'm using Carlson 2020 and I create points and i can export them as a csv but using the data transfer utility I can't import them into the handheld. I dont have pathfinder office anymore but do have trimble business center. Is there anyway to create and .ssf file or a .wpt file using trimble business center or carlson to get the points into the hand held?

?ÿ

thank you

I believe you can import a shapefile, if you have some way of converting those points.?ÿ?ÿ

@bill68

TBC can export a shapefile, which can then be loaded into the handheld. However, if I remember correctly shapefiles can only be loaded as "background" files - you can see where you are relative to the features, but you cannot use the Navigate function as you would with a WPT or SSF file.

PFO is the only utility I know of that can generate the required waypoint file.
