When using the CREATE LINE functions in Civil 3D there are often silly little tripod and reflector icons displayed on the screen. They are very disconcerting and confusing to me. Does anyone know how to turn these off?

Thanks!

Jim

Are you using transparent commands to do line by angles or similar? if these symbols stay on, find out their layer then turn it off would be the quick option.

We find the Create line functions from the top menu to be very limited as we seldom need to use them. Many of the functions do show those icons you refer too and as far as I know there is no way to remove them. For 95% of the lines we create we simply use the normal acad line command and the use the transparent commands from the toolbar to draw by brg and dist or a multitude of others. Even those have the icons you refer too though. The icons havent really bothered me much.
