We have a client that recently updated their code list and I need to convert it from a .XLSX to a .XML for use on our Topcon FC2500 data collectors using Topsurv as the field software. I haven't been able to find a way to do this, and my Topcon rep wasn't able to convert either. I was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to make this happen or not?

I might be able to help but it would take something like Carlson Survey to perform the process. If you'd care to send me your .XLSX file, I'll take a look and will see what I can do.

I have done similar., But using current versios. May be able to do this in Magnet Field or Office. I would safe the Excel file to a CSV., Then import. It should be backwards compatible.

You may also try TopconLink.

Not sure how well Carson suggestions above will work. TopSurv may be too old.

I was unable to make it happen converting from .CSV and then importing. Also tried TopconLink, but it was unable to recognize the .XLSX format I need to convert from.

I checked on Carlson and couldn't find where to do any type of conversion.

I'm not even sure if I'm able to do a Feature code list with an attribute table on my current setup?
