Anyone successfully done this?
I was hoping to connect my TSC3 to a Leica TCR705 or TCR805 by cable.
There is a choice of Leica instruments listed including TC800.I suspect this is the old TC800 not the new ones.

Not happening, the last guy I saw do that was my pal Warner.It was quite a McGyver stunt,he ran an 1100 series robotically using a TDS recon with Survey Pro.

I've gotten them to talk but it was clunky, they don't play well together. The data collector is looking for the old GSI format; I'm not sure how much it matters which instrument you pick as long as that's what's coming out of it. Try to go with the defaults for baud rate, parity, etc.
