Hopefully this is a pretty simple question.

Is there a way to snap to the intersection of a line in model space and the viewport window??ÿ While clicked in either the viewport or in paper space?

Possibly not. But while in paper space (layout), you can say draw a line snapping to a model space object, and where that paper space line intersects the viewport, you can snap to the intersection.

I donƒ??t know offhand, but for certain scenarios I will trace the viewport with a polyline and do a ƒ??change spaceƒ?, so I can have my ?ÿlimits in model space. And you could draw your line in model, and change it to whichever space you want....probably not helpful for you, and thereƒ??s even more probably a better way?ÿ

I see, that would probably work for what I intend to do.

I reworded my question a bit differently in google and found a pretty solid solution.  I draw my viewport window and create a copy on top of it, then CHSPACE and click the copy and boom, puts a box in model space of what my viewport sees that I can snap to without clicking out of the viewport.

Really looking forward to trying this out on my next task but I wish you could just snap to the intersection of model space and the viewport with apparent intersection or something.
