My command line disappeared yesterday. I have tried everything to get it back. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It happened to me one time and this is what fixed it:

I would obviously try what Ladd said first, and be very, very careful editing your registry.

Thanks Ladd and Ben. I tried Ladd's suggestion lastnight and F12 just doesn't do anything in the 2006 Carlson Survey. That must be an AutoCAD solution. I have standalone Carlson.

I am hesitant to mess with the registry as I know nothing about that. Hopefully I can just get a code tomorrow and re-install. Thanks again.

Yeah, I'd just give them a call first thing and they can walk you through it. I just opened my registry editor and found that it is not like the article I posted from Carlson so they must have emailed me the hkey fix. I'm pretty sure this is your problem as I tried everything else and nothing except this worked. (I currently run Carlson 2007)

The "old fix" was ALT+9. (hold down the ALT key and the 9 key at the same time.) The F12, Dynamic Input stuff works on 2010 and forward.
