Is anyone running SurvCE on one of the newer rangers?
Any cheers or jeers?
I use topcon total station & hiper lite gps currently with an Allegro & Carlson.
This looks like a neat box with desirable features, if it will play well with Carlson.
thanks,
JTS

J.T.,

I would call Carlson, and see if they have a version for that hardware. I bought my Hiper lites back in 2007, and Carlson was kind enough to transfer the previous owner's license to me with a proof of purchase.

The FC1000 that the SurvCE was on bit the dust, and I traded it on on my Ranger 500X. Carlson let me transfer the SurvCE to my older Ranger 200T, so I know they have, at least in the past, had versions that ran on the Ranger boxes.

I will probably eventually migrate over to the Carlson SurvCE full time eventually, but I will always have to have the larger data collector with a full keypad.

I hope this information helps.

Jimmy

Carlson does have a build available for that hardware platform. If you have a SurvCE 2.x serial number, visit the SurvCE 2.x Download Page or Request a 30-point Demo Version.
