Maybe this post will only serve to show my general GPS ignorance. But, in Carlson SurvCE, Localization, in order to apply the scale factors for general GPS work you must check the Grid to Ground box. Grid to Ground? Wouldn't this terminalogy only make sense when converting State Plane (Grid) coords to Ground coords? I rarely work in SPCS and every time I check this box it bugs me. Am I missing something?
