Our company is in the process of switching over to Carlson "sight" survey. I have run into an issue with points and their attributes. When a point attribute is selected, the actual node that goes along with it does not get hightlighted with it, like it does in most other CAD programs. Ive been through the manual multiple times and cant seem to figure out the problem. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks

I think the problem is a toggle in the setting.
Goto the setting pull-down menu and select Carlson configure then select the general setting button then in the area of Object linking uncheck the "Group Point Entities".
Hope that works

Go to the Carlson Web Site's Discussion Groups and look under the topics for Carlson Survey with Embedded AutoCad and read the "Bits abd Pieces" listing for some help in configuring your program.
Carlson points and "point blocks" are not the same as in LDD or Civil 3D, but can be "customised" to act the same.
