For those of you familiar with this tablet I am using Carlson Surv PC and as you know when you need to type in a code or a rod height the Carlson program has its own embedded keyboard that pops up when needed.
For some reason the Windows keyboard keeps popping up as well and damned if I can figure out how to make it stop. It's like it has a mind of its own and even though I have toggled and switched various dingles and dangles it still appears on top of the embedded keyboard in carlson.
Do any of you super geniuses know how to make it go away?
I've tried cussing it as well.........a lot.
Here you go. Just make sure to exit SurvPC before putting the tablet to sleep, it makes it a hassle to input the password when it wakes up. Or disable the password login.

Thank you, I will give that a shot, hopefully it works,?ÿ if it does you will receive official recognition as a "super genius".
I looked at it and discovered that it was already in the OFF position.
So no Scooby Snack for you.
Oh, I'll get my Scooby Snack...
Try this.
swipe the screen from the side -> all settings -> type in the search bar "typing" -> scroll down -> disable "show the touch keyboard when not in tablet mode and there's no keyboard attached"
Also, try turning OFF Tablet Mode.
Well I guess one of you can have a Scooby Snack and y'all can fight for it. It was a combination of factors including new software but I swiped the right side of the screen and turned off tablet mode and that appears to have fixed it.
