I'm going to be purchasing a seat of Carlson Survey before the end of the year. What's the best Carlson reseller in terms of support after purchase since I know all of the pricing is more or less the same?

Personally, I'd go with the one that was closest to a telephone. The Carlson folks are pretty good.

Paul Carlson operates out of Texas. He gave us some Carlson College training with our purchase of the software. He knows his stuff, inside and out.
Check the Carlson website for a list of Carlson College members. My recommendation is that you buy your software from a Carlson College member. Your local VAR can sell the stuff, but I have yet to find one that really knew how to use the software, much less set it up.
