Anyone know how to adjust the points settings in Carlson 2021? It was set up to have the Number, Code, and Elevation. It now just displays a larger X symbol. The original (how I want it) is on the right and the current (what it changed to) is on the left. I have no idea how it changed.......
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

if not using FF, then double check:
?ÿmake sure "Draw Nodes Only" not checked
make sure these are checked:
descriptions
elevations
point numbers
?ÿ
using FF:
Additional Draw Options checked:
point numbers
descriptions
elevations
?ÿ
also, forgot the standard,
REBOOT
It's the point style.?ÿ Under the point settings, look at the attribute layout ID.?ÿ I typically use style 2. At the top, check the boxes for elevations and descriptions, and halfway down, point number display is there.?ÿ Check that the layers aren't frozen or off for the numbers, elevations and descriptions.

Newbie to Carlson. How would I go about setting the point attributes and symbol over the node to scale according to how close I'm zoomed in. If I have several points in close proximity and I zoom in on them, it's very difficult to differentiate between the different points. Is there a setting that would make them scalable according to how close I'm zoomed in on them? As is they all appear fixed. I've messed around with Setting - IntelliCAD settings - Point Style and that doesn't appear to be giving me the desired results.?ÿ
What I do; click the resize point attribute and make them .4. Or; move point attributes with leader.?ÿ
In the points pull down,?ÿ there is dynamic point attributes, but I haven't used it. I believe this will do what you desire.
If you're new to Carlson, please be aware of the check box for points on Real Z, in both the point settings and in F2F.
I prefer points not on Real Z, for many reasons.?ÿ You may prefer them on Real Z.?ÿ I'm just pointing this out to save yourself a lot of frustration with blocks being inadvertently being moved to bogus Z values, or at a 3D skew.
@jph Good point. I did pick that up from one of?ÿ the videos. Unless I'm working with a surface I plan to keep that one unchecked. As is at this point I can get things gobbed up enough in two dimensions without having to introduce a third.
You can always export and use a text file for surfaces, instead of using the crd for the surface
@jph Don't do many tins. At the moment doing my best to figure out how to rotate my comp points generated in Visual Cogo using rec data to some found control. None of the line work wants to rotate with the points. In general settings I have Link Linework with Points checked, but it's not playing along. Tried Regen.
Some days I just feel like a monkey humping a football. Sigh
It's Miller time. Hairlip Willy out.

@williwaw I'm using Carlson Survey 2020 with Intellicad and can't seem to find the Dynamic Point Attributes checkbox you found. Can you point me in the right direction?
@bushaxe?ÿ
Find you have to go back and revisit it to refresh new points as they're added so it's not really a check once and done thing.
