About a year back we went to carlson from land desktop.
To get to the point im having a problem with f2f in certain drawings and i cant find a pattern to it.
I get a pop up about unknown symbols for certain field codes.
They seem to be symbols from LDT but not all of them.
To add to the confusion if i go to another cpu on the same network same dwg same f2f file no problem at all.
Also i only have this problem with some drawings not all of them.
So the big problem im having is how to fix this in my f2f file there is no path for a bunch of symbols just a name (ex. BOUND or DHBOLDR) and there never has been. I just don't have a clue where f2f looks for these symbols.
ahhhhhh
Have you reached out to Carlson with this yet? They are very responsive and it could be an bug with them. I had some F2F issues where it would not recognize some point imports, but would with others. They got back to me that this was a known bug and should be fixed in the build coming out in a week.
TLDR; Contact Carlson
I don't know that you will have much luck getting an answer from Carlson on that one. I had a very similar situation during the short time I used Carlson. My problem was that my symbols would come in fine for a period of time, then without making any changes suddenly my symbols (not all, but a select few) would be too small, like so tiny that you wouldn't be able to see them. I would make adjustments to my symbols and scales, and it would work fine again for a while, then suddenly my symbols would be huge! I thought it would be an easy question for them to answer, as far as what the search hierarchy was for the symbols, but I never did get a straight answer from them. They liked to tell me that everything should come in the same way every time. Well no shitake Sherlocks.

Are you sure that this is not due to your annotative scale settings? Annotative scale is a powerful tool, but much like paperspace, if you don't fully grasp how it works it can be extremely frustrating.

At this point, I don't care what caused it. My Carlson days are gone forever hopefully. My question would still be why my blocks would have come in fine for months at a time, then all of a sudden they went bonkers.
