I am using Carlson 2016 standalone with the autocad drafting engine. is there a way to query the dwg file and produce a list of shx files used in that particular dwg. I have a client who is getting a missing shx and I want to knwo which shx file to send along with the dwg file

99% of the?ÿdrawings I've ever opened come up with the "Missing SHX" warning, don't know if I can recall a time in which it didn't. Never had anyone ask for it,?ÿ?ÿI figured it was just one of those thing that popped up like the "Proxy" box and everyone using AutoCad?ÿjust ignored it but now I'm interested in case it ever comes up.
Use Etransmit to package everything together to send to the client. It will include the shx files used in the drawing.

If using etransmit, you may need to change the transmittal setup to include fonts.
