I have Carlson 2010 w/Intellicad. I have somehow buggered up a setting. I used the "Extend Line By Distance" command quite often, and somehow I got something toggled that it will create a node(?) or a grip at every extension. It didn't used to do that. Maybe it's just my OCD, but I really can't stand that it does that now.

Any help is appreciated.

TIA

Carl

In the Edit -- Extend -- Extend by Distance command, check the "V" option (per the Command Help):

>V - Vertex mode Toggles insertion of co-linear vertices.

Ladd,

I even called Carlson this morning and you would have thought that I was speaking in an alien language for as much as the person who kept interrupting me and telling me that there was no way to know how to fix this.

😉

You're welcome. I don't use that command all that often and the solution was provided (graciously) from Lon Watson in the Carlson Technical Support Group. I learned something new today, too.

I'm willing to bet that I got ahead of myself somewhere, got sloppy, and was trying to do a "ctrl+V" and toggled it.

In any case, again, thank you and Lon very much.
