How do I set the default directory for Carlson to look for my drawing files?
Right now, it defaults to
c:Program Files (x86)Program FilesCarlson Software 200....
I would like it to be C:UsersJimmyDropbox
I have gone into the settings menu and changed what I thought was the correct settings, but I have obviously missed something.

I've always made the change at the shortcut on the desktop
Right click the icon on your desktop and click properties
A dialog box will open.
Type or cut & paste the path to your folder in the "Start In:" box
BTW, It will only do that when you use the shortcut to open the program
