For over 36 years now, I've been working with CAD programs. I began with some in-house programs, then Intergraph (now MicroStation), Versacad, GenericCad, Autocad and others. In all that time I've never used the "Grid" function. Wondering how many in the SurveyorConnect Forum use or have used it?

Any time I get new/updated software "grid off" is almost the very first command - I have enough things I need to snap to and a grid is not usually one of them.

No need for grid.
AccuDraw in Microstation is assume!

I've used grid snap in the past for mechanical drafting but that was on a planet far way and a time long ago.?ÿ I do use the ortho command 'F8' quite a bit.
