C3d users, how often do you find you have to use RECOVER or AUDIT? I'm using it daily, at least once. With LDT it was maybe once a month.

Mark,
Standard practice is to do an AUDIT before a SAVE/CLOSE. I haven't used RECOVER yet.

Make Sure to be purging regularly as well. Purge followed up with audit works well.

Something might be afoot. I had to recover every drawing I opened today. In the past it was once in a blue moon.

FYI, you AUDIT a drawing that is already open. You RECOVER a drawing that is not yet open. If the RECOVER is successful, at the end of the command execution the drawing is opened. Other than that they are essentially the same.

I am thinking of redefining the OPEN command to run RECOVER instead.
