Is anyone using this functionality? I currently use star-net for all traverse adjustments, but I would love to get it done without leaving CAD. Would anyone using C3D for adjustments please post advantages/disadvantages - likes/dislikes.

Also, if you wanted describe the workflow for accomplishing this, I would not be too upset. 😉

Anyway thanks for any time you guys spend on this. I dont post much, but I love this site. Thanks to those that keep it running.

Star*Net has significantly superior functionality than the C3D Survey Database. The C3D Survey Database is really only designed for total station use. It has no provisions for mixing GPS and orthometric level observations with your total station traverse information.

wow ur fast!!

Thanks for the info.

I still wonder if it's worth learning just for total station purposes. Mostly I use TGO to process GPS data first then just use star-net for traverse data anyway.

I still adjust traverse in the d.c and then import the points.

Now my traverse runs arent that big, so it not usually to hard.

StarNet is still superior, even for terrestrial measurements.

I do our total station loops in Autocad LDD. I don't if land development and C3D work the same as far as traverse adjustment. If you have single loops it works great.
