Good morning everyone.

I am preparing an asbuilt where I would like to have certain items that need to be on every page Xref'd into paperspace. I have used the wipeout command for those xref files and was hoping to have the xref wipeout everything behind it when I move it to the location on the page it belongs. However, when I bring the xref items in, it will only wipeout items that are in paperspace and not model space. It will wipeout the viewport line but I can still see everything behind it that is in model space. I have tried the draworder but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas on what is going on with this is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

JH

I don't know if this will help,
but

I had a similar problem with a "legacy" (old) version of ACAD, believe it or not, I had to reverse the draw order in paper space to make it plot correctly.

It seemed counter intuitive, but it worked and it's worth a quick try.

Do you mean sending the viewport to the front?

Look for a check box in the print dialog that is labeled "plot paperspace last" or similar. By printing paperspace last your wipeouts should hide objects in modelspace.
