Been a long while since I did this, most of my recent work has been a repeat of all my old styles.
I have a drawing where my linetypes print correctly at a scale of 1:30 in model space.
I want the lines to look similar when plotted at 1:1 in Paper Space without changing LTSCALE when switching to Paper Space layout.
I am using Carlson Survey 2004. My viewport is locked at 1/30.
I want others to be able to reproduce my linetypes when they replot on their machines, but that may be asking too much.
Back when linetypes were regularly changed there was always a CAD draftsman around to ask.

Why don't you just make a PDF and send it out? That is to say, you're already drawing in paper space, so what's the problem.
If it were model space, I still wouldn't understand since the cad file would have your template you used to generate the line widths and types.
I think ol' pdf is your friend here. I'm not an ACAD guru, so I can't help other than work-arounds.
set the variable
PSLTSCALE
to 1
you will have to do a REGEN to see the changes

PDF Is Not An Option
Drawing is going to other engineers to play with. The will be doing their things in other Paper Space Layouts with minor changes in model space.
When I get a drawing back for my future updates I do not want to reinvent the wheel. Most times I get a pdf back with proposed updates and then I field survey it into a new drawing to go back to them.
They do not want my points so I maintain a base drawing, then save as and move on.
Did the LTSCALE thing, the PSLTSCALE thing, regenned and "nada".

Sorry. I hate paper space. All of the engineers I deal with, as well as me, work in model space. On occasion, I get one in paper space, but not often.
given a 50-50 chance
I'll miss it every time!
set PSLTSCALE to zero
and do a REGENALL
this should work!

Paper Space Is Not My Favorite Territory Either
But it gets my notes out of their way.
Dealing with a company with multiple engineers/project managers and no definitive standards, linetypes, plot styles etc. I do not want to reinvent their wheel either.

In Acad 2000, if my LTSCALE value is set to my intended drawing scale in MSPACE, i.e. 20, 30, 40, 50, etc., and I want to see my linework at that scale in PSPACE, I have to set PSLTSCALE to 0.
YMMV,

Yeah, what RFB said the second time...
Thanks RFB, That Did It !
I had tried changing my LTSCALE to 1 and my line properties to a scale when your first suggestion did not work. When your second suggestion did not work either I switched back to linetype scale equals 1 and reset my LTCALE and voila it showed up the same when switching to my Paper Space layout.

I'm with Chris - paper space is an abomination!
I won't say mean things about the people who use it - I just figure they don't know any better...

Try producing a drawing that shows a 4000 feet of roadway at 1" = 50 feet on a single sheet without using paper space.
And the new Polygon viewports allow you to stick all kinds of things in the drawing without corrupting the model spece.

I do stuff like that all the time in model space. Paper space sucks.

I have not done that recently, but as an engineer designing a profile for a mile plus road I would start with a 10'-12' long plot on 24" roll paper. Worked on it in scroll fashion on one long grid. Raw profile plot, then replot with a proposed profile, then again with storm and sanitary sewer. I would decide on sheet break locations to minimize the information that had to be repeated on 2 sheets. Then I handed it to the draftsmen to create all the paper space layouts all in one drawing.
Once the profile was in the lower 12"x36" viewport then we had a lot of viewtwists to get the plan in the upper 12"x36" viewport. It was amazing how many plan sheets came out of one dwg.
I can still recall my first AutoCAD major subdivion back in AutoCAD 10. I worked on it for several months and about 3 weeks before the deadline the client walks into the office and wants to see his plans. All I could do was point to the screen and say "Trust me, it's all in there." I quickly learned that gone were the days of the draftsman's time equalling the engineers. I did 85% on that first project. 2 weeks before deadline I had 1 draftsman to help plot and begin the sticky back detail sheets. 1 week before I got a second draftsman on board and voila there it was. That was 1990 and it was the premier subdivision for a long time builder. He has slowly built every house in that subdivision, except 1 which he came to regret, because nothing knocks a subdivision down like 1/2 a house standing around for years unbuilt. This past year I drove through there and there are 6 lots yet to go. In about 3 years the builder will most likely just drop over after turning over the last set of keys since he has nothing left to do.
Paper space would have been nice back then.
Now I am much happier leaving the engineering to others.

Grab the lines in question using your "Change Properties" icon.
There's a field for changing the line type scale.
You can change any line to a different linetype scale individually.
