I have a large parcel of land (300+ ac) that we are only surveying a very small portion of (1.5 ac) and I want to show the overall parcel with plus/minus even distance to the foot. Is there a way in Carlson 2020 to auto annotate the perimeter with the plus or minus symbol at the end of the distance?

thank you?ÿ

There is in Civil3d so I would assume Carlson can also do it. Will have to let one of our Carlson users answer this one.

In Annotate Defaults dialog > Distance tab set Decimals pull-down to 0, and put '%%p in the Suffix box

Annotate-Annotate Defaults-Distance tab, assuming you're annotating in feet, the suffix box will have a foot mark in it already.?ÿ Add %%P after the foot mark and all of your distances will look like this:

ALT-241 is an alternative I have learned (probably here) to %%P
