Esri's free version of Earth. So far most of my data works.

I stopped the download because it said it was 64 bit. I have Win 7, 32 bit.

Anyone care to sum up the ways in which ArcGIS Earth is better than Google Earth, and vice versa? I'm reasonably familiar with the latter, so I'm going to need a good reason to learn my way around the former.

This one is actually much better than Google Earth:

I just downloaded it and compared side by side .

I downloaded and installed the ArcGIS product in a couple minutes with no problem. My initial impression is that I won't be abandoning GE for the things I've come to rely on GE for. There is no street view in this ArcGIS Earth, for example.

Could be that ArcGIS Earth would be better for viewing GIS data sets, can't say.

Free?
A free download is not necessarily a free product.

I got the download yesterday. I'm going to try to take some time to investigate it today. I'm supposed to be making money for this company, but checking out new software seems so much more fun right now!
