Someone stole my toolbars last night.
How do I get them back?

Depending on your version I believe the command is "menu", you get a lot of choices from there.

Its been awhile since I was chained to a computer, possibly "menuload" is what I should have told you. I think you can also right click the mouse on the appropriate area of the screen and achieve the same thing.:-) If those don't work I apologize for steering you in the wrong direction. The mind is a terrible thing to lose.:-)

Paden,
Toolbar gets me Customize User Interface.

Under Toolbars the ones I need (Layer, Layer 2, and Osnap) aren't there.
I found them under Partial CUI Files ACAD Toolbars. And in Appearance On by Default they're all on SHOW.

Could they have slid off the screen?

May be..that's happened to me at least once. I also remember an occurance that a few of the toolbars didn't appear to be 'up'...but when I would minimize and maximize the entire acad window, there were visible for just a brief second...things that make you go 'hmmmm...'.

I believe I just bailed out of the file and rebooted. Good luck.

I had recently, totally screwed up my toolbars.

I then proceeded to make matters worse by hacking around with my menus.

After a half a day of reading and more screwing around, I did a Windows System Restore to a couple of weeks ago.

Problem Solved!

Right click within the light gray area of any toolbar?
