Anyone had any luck installing ACAD 2002 on a 64 bit computer running Windows 8?

Can it even be done?

It's just the basic home version of Windows 8.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

BLH

I just installed 2004 on Windows 7 64 bit but I had to get 7 Pro to make it work. I'm assuming you may need to do the same.

Try copying the disk to your c drive, right click on the exe file and pick install as xp. Double click it and it should install correctly.

I have successfully installed LDD3 (w ACAD2002) on both Windows 7 & 8 machines.

First off, you cannot use autorun, or the setup.exe, our install disk has a msetup.exe, use that. Second, create a folder on the C drive called Programs, then install the program to there. It should work, here is a link I found helpful when trying to sort this out.
