Sam Lagow RPLS 3363 a former employee of S.W. Howell, Inc. passed away on July 13, 2015.

Services for Samuel Coy Lagow are scheduled for 10:30a.m., Thursday, July 16th at First Christian Church, 601 N. Lee, Odessa, TX with Rev. Dawn and Rev. Joe Weaks officiating.

There will be an open visitation at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors starting at noon to 9:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 15th.
He went to his eternal home with Jesus on July 13, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Interment will be in the Menard Cemetery Friday afternoon at 2:00p.m. Contact Heritage Funeral Home in Menard for further information 325-396-4591.

He was born in Menard, TX and graduated with a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He held a Registered Professional Engineer's license along with several other licenses including Registered Land Surveyor and Registered Irrigator.

Utmost in his life was sharing his Christian faith with everyone and anyone who would listen. He had a passion for others less fortunate and felt God guided him in this ministry. Sam was faithful to Christ, and his family will miss his spiritual guidance and love.

Preceding him in death were his Christian mother and father, James and Viola Lagow, brother, James Harlin Lagow, Jr who sacrificed his life for his country in World War II at a very young age, and his nephew, Brian Laman.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Earlene Lagow, daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Terry Marriner, sister and brother-in-law Colleen and Bobby Laman, nephew, Allen Laman, and niece, Yolanda Laman.

Suggested memorials would be to Wounded Warrior Project, First Christian Church-Odessa or Samaritan's Purse.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors
